HEAD START - The objectives of the Head Start Program are to provide comprehensive health, educational, nutritional, social and other services primarily to economically disadvantaged preschool children and their families, and to involve parents in activities with their children so that the children will attain overall social competence. Parents also participate in various decision making processes related to the operation of the program. Transportation is available for children if parents are working or enrolled in school.
